What can the different kinds of threads required to be promoted consist of?

Threads within faction
-Consists of training, events, Character Interactions, etc. that are inside the Faction forums. (NOTE: some training threads may occur outside of the faction forums)

-ANY threads that have your character interacting with any of the other 5 factions (Jedi, Empire, Sith, Dark Jedi, NFU)

All threads must be completed to be used as an acceptable thread.

Planet Takeovers
PEACEFUL:

Any fleet faction that wants to do a peaceful planet takeover must have a main representative to broker the deal, a representative that could be an ambassador or senator for the planet, whether it is an existing PC, or a NPC that has been developed by faction staff. That meeting can be attended by military, intelligence, and government representatives, on both sides. How they got to the point of hashing out an alliance is preamble, exposition that should be given in the first post.
Everything need only take one thread, answering some semblance of the following questions:

1. How did [faction] and [planet] come to this point, be it [faction] coming to [planet]'s defense, a proposal from [planet] to [faction] or what-have-you?
2. What can being a member world do for that planet, be it security, development in social, economical, and other means, etc?
3. What can the planet contribute to the faction, be it a prime location on a galactic scale, resources, commitment to the faction's military, etc?

The result of the peaceful planet takeover opens the planet to relations with other worlds, an embassy in the faction capital, so on and so forth. Alliances between NFU and FU factions could be factored into the deal, as something along the lines of 'how does the planet feel about the presence of force users'?

HOSTILE:

For a hostile takeover, negotiations (terms of a surrender) should be hashed out after the conclusion of the battle - that is, at the end of the thread - with whoever stands as planetary leadership at the end, detailing what the faction requires of the planet, and what the faction may or may not do for the planet. All told, the hostile fleet faction must achieve the following over the course of the thread:

1. Air/Space Subjugation
2. Ground Subjugation
3. Surrender and/or disposal of the government

The result of the hostile planet takeover results in the placement of new leadership, be it from an aligned sector of the populace, or from the factions’ own personnel, whether an existing PC, or an NPC developed by faction leadership. From there comes the planet’s representative with the overall faction government, opens the planet to relations with other worlds, a possible embassy in the faction capital, so on and so forth. Alliances between NFU and FU factions factor in with the option for the allied FU faction to place a presence on the world, that might include a temple, if desired. The planet itself may or may not have a choice in the matter.
